 My name's Adriana. I don't exactly have a nickname. I'm very variable, sensitive , experience one embarassing event every day, and yet surprisingly mature. Heh. I, along with 186 million other girls in the world, suffer from an inferiority complex. For me, I like to see the beauty in things. I like art. But I'm not all obsessed over it. I like the beauty of it. I have this insane fixation that I will meet my soulmate by chance. Guess I'm not a big believer in slow development. I'm in PRCS's Modern Dance, 3/5. hi guys, today wasn't that great of a day really. esp the part where i failed my english diagnostic test. which really was kinda the last straw for me. most of you probably won't understand, english has always been my best subject. it was really a great shock for me, i didn't expect such a thing to happen. i was just recovering, yet another blow had to announce its arrival. it's kinda depressing, knowing how many people have praised me for my language, sure it's nothing outstanding, but i've always mantained it this way. and all the poetry and everything, it just felt as if it slipped away, like i lost my sense of stabiltity and sureness in that area. at least it's a wake up call, i shouldn't take it to heart. although i'm not too pleased with Ms Lam. she's really quite bias if you think about it. how me and glen are both english reps, but she always lets glen do the job. though at first i thought it was quite good, since i would be able to slack more. but after a while i saw the favourism. how she always talked to joseph and glen, praising Nana for her neatness, while she didn't praise Shermaine even though she was the highest. and she wrote a " Write Neatly" on my paper whilst Joseph's handwriting is worse! this month has shown me that appearances can be deceiving. i've heard this phrase lots of times, but have never really comprehended it fully. now i do, with utmost certainty that i'm correct. noticing the surroundings around me, how the people react, i can sense for myself who i need to be wary of. i've always had a knack for that, i don't know why lols. it's just that i trust my instinct alot. |
