![]() My name's Adriana. I don't exactly have a nickname. I'm very variable, sensitive , experience one embarassing event every day, and yet surprisingly mature. Heh. I, along with 186 million other girls in the world, suffer from an inferiority complex. For me, I like to see the beauty in things. I like art. But I'm not all obsessed over it. I like the beauty of it. I have this insane fixation that I will meet my soulmate by chance. Guess I'm not a big believer in slow development. I'm in PRCS's Modern Dance, 3/5. HELLO PEOPLE! ( wait, not many people read my blog anyway ) lot of things recently. let's start with today shall we? hmmmm... my name was actually submitted for audience. and then i was enlisted for ushering. so Mrs Sheri told me to go for audience instead. SKIPSKIPSKIPSKIPSKIP~ Sexuality Education. Lesson with Mrs Xie. the super cute-nice-sweet teacher. she delivered a great lesson. after that... stuff happened.. with THEM.. well nvm forget it. then we ran up and down coz we thought there was audience rehearsal. and so i left my yogurt on the table. went up, people said me and Hidayat look alike. so now we're SIBLINGS! and everybody was like " Ya horhhh!" went down, MY YOGURT WAS MISSING!!! OMGXZXZXXZXZ! and it was the last one which was mixed berry -.- and Sibling duwan to blanja me. tak baik nyer abang! hahahahaha. then the others got asigned their usher duty places. and me and Sibling were like " What are we doing here -.-" so we went down ( for what reason i don't know ) and we met MALIAH! { the OH-SO-JAMBU } and Nadia! { OH-SO-CUTE! } and the first thing Maliah said was " You two look like twins!" we were like OHMYGAWD YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES WE'VE HEARD THAT! went up again, asked Liyana if we looked alike. she said ABIT. Sibling/twin go kick the 'fence'. hahaha. and Pavithra's JEALOUS! she says Sibling is stealing me away from her. and she doesn't like him being around me. so funny lah Pavi! oh and i found out that i have anxiety problems and i'm showing symptoms of agoraphobia. but i haven't gotten a panic attack, so nth to worry about. coloured are my symptoms. Agoraphobia is a condition which develops when a person begins to avoid spaces or situations associated with anxiety. Typical "phobic situations" might include driving, shopping, crowded places, traveling, standing in line, being alone, meetings and social gatherings. Agoraphobia arises; from an internal anxiety condition that has become so intense that the suffering individual fears going anywhere or doing anything where these feelings of panic have repeatedly occurred before. Once the panic attacks have started, these episodes become the ongoing stress, even when other more obvious pressures have diminished. Many people remain in a painful state of anxious anticipation because of these fears. Some become restricted or "housebound" while others function "normally" but with great difficulty, often attempting to hide their discomfort. Agoraphobia, then, is both a severe anxiety condition and a phobia, as well as a pattern of avoidant behavior. Not enough evidence? Okay fine, one more article. The article presents a number of studies to suggest that the following learning experiences in a child’s home environment contribute to the later development of agoraphobia in addition to their genes: 1) Childhood learning experiences in which one learns to perceive oneself as being helpless or lacking control. 2) Being rewarded as a child for engaging in sick role behavior when experiencing anxiety or panic. 3) Witnessing chronic illness of another family member and learning to perceive any unusual bodily sensations as dangerous. An individual’s own temperament also has something to do with the development of Agoraphobia. Some are simply more sensitive and react more intensely to certain life situations. Studies also show that babies and children who demonstrate “behavioral inhibition” are more likely to develop an anxiety disorder in their adult years. Behavioral inhibition is characterized by withdrawing, crying, and seeking comfort when the child is faced with unfamiliar surroundings or strangers. |
